Meditation
Meditation has been scientifically proven to relieve stress and replace it with a dose of inner peace, greater clarity and focus, expanded compassion and empathy, deeper love and more frequent joy, and a viewpoint that is more receptive to other perspectives, which offers you new possibilities in every moment. It’s one of the best tools we have to balance our emotions, deal with physical and psychological distress, de-escalate conflict, reduce suffering.
My life before I discovered the power of meditation lacked clarity and left me feeling unfulfilled. I never took the time to take care of myself or do the things I enjoyed. I was a workaholic, but I felt that what I provided as an esthetician was not enough, and that if I wanted to create real change, not superficial short-lived results, I would have to offer more. This became clear through my journey with meditation.
I first discovered meditation through my daily yoga practice and it transformed my life tremendously. The deeper I went into my practice, the more I desired long-lasting, genuine change for myself, and my clients. I felt a strong desire to take my personal and professional life to a new, deeper level. I accomplished this through expanding my meditation practice and eventually becoming a teacher.
Meditation has allowed me to heal from the inside out. Now I am much more compassionate, patient, accepting, and open. I value myself more than I ever have, and I love what I do. I communicate more consciously, sleep more restfully, and I make better choices. I have never felt this much peace in my mind and in my heart. After hours of practicing meditation, yoga, and other spiritual practices I have gained a powerful appreciation for the connection between all parts of our being and the need to care for ourselves as a whole. Through that appreciation and through a realization that people are hungry for a deeper sense of well-being, I have created my unique and multi- layered offering.
